About Data Index Hub

A Phuket-based practice devoted to the financial audit of insurance underwriting applications — careful file work for people who bind risk.

Why we exist

Insurance underwriting applications carry a financial story: what the insured declares, how exposure is measured, and whether the premium basis can stand when claims later test the file. Data Index Hub was formed to examine that story with patience — not to sell a product, but to leave underwriters with clearer questions answered.

Origin

The practice began in Phuket after years of file work alongside Thai and regional commercial lines. We saw packs that looked tidy until turnover schedules, asset lists, and limit structures were read together. That habit of reading across the pack became the whole of our work.

How we work

  • File first — We start from the documents you already have, not from a generic questionnaire.
  • Line-aware — Property, liability, cargo, and specialty packs raise different financial questions; we do not force one template.
  • Written for the file — Findings are drafted so they can sit in an underwriting or binder file without translation into marketing language.
  • Proportionate — A two-page premium basis check should not feel like a full audit, and a full audit should not skip the uncomfortable schedules.

People

Our reviewers are practitioners with underwriting support, broker technical, and financial analysis backgrounds. Engagements are led by a named reviewer who remains your contact from intake to final memorandum. We keep the team small so pack knowledge does not bounce between anonymous queues.

Thailand context

We understand local document habits, bilingual packs, and the pace of Bangkok and Phuket markets. Meetings can be held at Level 12, 95 Rat-U-Thit Road, Patong, Phuket 83150, or conducted remotely when the file can travel securely.

Values in practice

Independence from placement fees. Candour when a pack is not ready. Respect for confidential figures. No theatre around deadlines — if a bind date is tight, we say what can be done inside it.
